| Apple introduces its 3rd iteration of smash-hit smartphone that totally revolutionized the smartphone market, the iPhone 3GS (S stands for "speed"). It comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a talk time of up to 5 hours on 3G or up to 12 hours on 2G and an internet use of up to 5 hours on 3G and up to 9 hours on Wi-Fi.
