| Sony Ericsson Satio (U1i) Quadband 3G HSDPA GPS is Sony Ericsson’s flagship touchscreen cellphone. It comes with a 12.1 CMOS megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom. Its camera features include Xenon flash, smile detection, red-eye reduction, picture stabilizer, face detection and geo-tagging. It comes with a 3.5”, 640 x 360 pixels resolution with 16.7 million (24 bit) color support resistive touch screen and not a capacitive one so you will have to apply a bit more pressure while using it or use a stylus which is included. The camera enables recording video at 30 fps. Sony Ericsson Satio comes with a built-in accelerometer which automatically switches to landscape mode when you tilt the device. It has three available choices for keyboard, full sized QWERTY keyboard, alphanumeric keypad and handwriting recognition. It is likewise equipped with a built-in Walkman player that enables you to view track collection by albums, artists, playlists, audiobooks, track, recordings and podcast.
This phone is run by Symbian 9.4 operating system. It comes with an 8GB memory card, 68 MB of internal memory which can be expanded to 16 GB through microSD cards. Its organizer features alarm clock, calendar, reminder, calculator, countdown timer and stopwatch. It also comes with TrackID music recognition service, FM radio, and Playnow which allows you to download games, ringtones, music and wallpaper/themes on the device. This phone supports ASF, 3GP, WMV and MPEG4 formats for video player and MP3 and AAC formats for audio player. Its wireless interface options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, DLNA and Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP. Satio’s messaging services features SMS, mobile e-mail, internet browser, JAVA applications, HSDPA, XHTML browser and RSS feeds. It is capable of 660 minute talk time (11 Hrs for GSM/ 5Hrs for 3G).
