Samsung Wave


Samsung introduces the first handset to receive Bluetooth SIG certification for the new Bluetooth 3.0 standard, the new Samsung Wave. It comes in a 3.3 inches, 480 x 800 pixels, Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that features 16M colors, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, scratch-resistant surface and handwriting recognition function. It also features an on-screen full QWERTY keyboard. Samsung Wave’s music player uses Samsung DNSE technology that provides great and spectacular sounds. It offers a lot of ways to brows albums. When the phone is held horizontally, it shows CD's that enables you to scroll through it to choose which album to play. There is also a circular alphabet dial that will take you alphabetically to whatever letter you are looking for. Its touchscreen also provides easy swiping to go to the next track or to go back to the previous track.

Samsung Wave is equipped with a fast 5 MP camera with 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus and LED flash. It is also equipped with face and smile detection features. Samsung likewise has the capacity to record videos in 720p at 30fps, with continuous autofocus and video light. It also features MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player, MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV/Xvid/DivX player, digital compass, Organizer, Image editor, stereo FM radio with RDS with FM recording capacity. It is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support. Samsung Wave also features Bada OS with ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor and a 2 GB internal memory with micrOSD expansion up to 32 GB. It also features HSDPA connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 1500 mAh battery.
