With Panasonic DMP-BD85K WiFi Enabled Blu-Ray disc player, you can experience movies like never before. It offers more than full HD 1080p video. This superb audio performance is brought by Dolby TrueHD, dts-HD Master Audio, and advanced Panasonic technologies with studio-quality 7.1 channel surround sound that can only be found in movie theaters. The BD85 utilizes the PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus that was developed in collaboration with Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory which is a high image processing technology that reproduces clear, vivid colors as that of the original film. For a superior picture quality, this technology is combined with P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD) that processes more than 15 billion pixels per second and applies the optimal processing to every pixel.
BD85 also uses a 16-level motion detection to categorize the image motion of each pixel into one of 16 levels. It has the capacity to provide 1080/24p output that reproduce cinema images from a Blu-ray Disc and DVD in their original 24p form without the need for conversion. This player also features 96kHz surround re-master that enhances the sound quality of CDs and other sources. It has a built-in Wi-Fi connectivity via included Wireless LAN adapter as well as wired Ethernet networking for accessing Internet video. It is equipped with a USB port and a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot viewing and sharing both digital still images and HD video recorded with an HD camcorder in the AVCHD or DivX.
