Nintendo Wii Sports Resort


Nintendo’s Wii gaming console continues to revolutionize interactive gaming, entertainment and fun among people of all ages with its new Wii Sports Resort. It is an immersive and active-play game that comprises a dozen of fun resort-themed activities. To provide players with a nearly realistic and immersive experience, Wii Sports Resort is packed with a Wii MotionPlus (must be used with a Wii Remote) accessory which has the capacity to recognize even the slightest tilt, turn and twist of the Wii Remote controller. It is equipped with 512 MB of internal flash memory two USB 2.0 ports, a slot for SD memory expansion and built-in wired and wireless broadband Internet capability. It comes with a processing chip developed with IBM called the "Broadway" and a graphics chipset from ATI code-named "Hollywood” that both deliver spectacular performance. Wii Sports Resort uses a single, self-loading media bay instead of a tray that plays both 12-centimeter optical discs used for the new system and Nintendo GameCube discs.

The Wii Sports Resort is equipped with intuitive controls using the physical motion of the Wii Remote. Using Bluetooth technology, up to four Wii Remote controllers can be connected whose signal can be detected within 10 meters of the console. The Wii Remote controller can be used as a pointer within five meters of the screen and which includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers include motion sensors. The Wii console contains four ports for classic Nintendo GameCube controllers, two slots for Nintendo GameCube Memory Cards and an AV Multi-output port for component, composite or S-video. Wii also provides a bundle of information, entertainment and communication functions via its system of on-screen channels. Through WiiWare and Virtual Console game services using purchasable Wii Points, you can gain access to a lot of downloadable games. With its disc-based Netfix functionality, you can stream movies easily with your Wii. It also features easy-to-use parental controls to manage access to its software or various channels or prohibit the use of Wii Points in the Wii Shop Channel.
