| The revolutionary Bluetooth Virtual Laser Keyboard from iTech Dynami utilizes both infrared and laser technology to create an invisible circuit and project a full-size working virtual keyboard to any non-reflective, opaque flat surface. It is a new device that makes entering data to cell phone or PDAs a lot more easier. It gives the convenience of any regular keyboard even when typing under direct sunlight. The Bluetooth Virtual Laser Keyboard works well under all standard indoor illuminations up to 600 lux. When typing on the laser projection, detection technology based on optical recognition allows the user to tap the icons of the keys coupled with simulated key click sounds that feed into any compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices like PDA, Smartphone, laptop or PC.
It comes in a 63 key and full-size QWERTY keyboard. It is very portable and more convenient to use than the folding-type keyboards made by other manufacturers which have the same functionality. It only weighs two ounces and is almost of the same size as that of a disposable cigarette lighter. It has a 3.6V rechargeable lithium ion battery that gives the Virtual Laser Keyboard its own internal power supply independent of the power supply from any compatible device. Its battery life lasts two to three hours. Its detection runs at the rate of p to 400 characters per minute. The Bluetooth Virtual Laser Keyboard is compatible with PalmOS 5, PocketPC 2003, Windows Smartphone, Symbian OS, and Windows 2000/XP but has limited Mac OSX support as it is not provided with drivers and software for Mac. The drivers and software for Windows 2000/XP are however included. Posted 2010-09-25 and updated on Sep 30, 2010 10:27pm by richard opinion |
