Apple introduces the newest addition to its line of touch screen products, the Apple iPad tablet. This device is sure to change the way customary tasks are done every day like browsing the internet with lightning fast 3G (or wifi) speeds or watching movies on its huge 9.7 inch screen. It is a tablet computer that features a clean industrial design derived from Apple’s MacBook Pro computers with internal components taken mostly from its iPod touch and iPhone pocket devices and stable, multi-touch software. iPad runs over 150,000 applications. Many of these applications have been optimized exclusively for this device. It offers iPod-equivalent sonic performance that is better than iPod and iPhone-quality visual performance and over 10 hours of video/Wi-Fi battery life unparalleled by any present Apple product.

It is equipped with a 64GB memory capacity for storing music, video, apps, photos and eBooks. It comes in a 9.7" (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen with IPS technology and a Multi-Touch screen with 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch (ppi) and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. iPad is 3G capable and has a built-in Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR technology. With its multi-touch screen, this device works in any orientation. Its built-in applications include Safari, Mail, Photos, Videos, YouTube, iPod, iTunes, App Store, Maps, Notes, Calendar and Contacts applications. It is so thin and light enough to take anywhere as it weighs only 1.6 lbs. and measures 9.56 inches (242.8 mm) width, 7.47 inches (189.7 mm) depth and 0.5 inch (13.4 mm).
