| Sony launched its new 32 GB Sony X Series Video Walkman player that has the capacity to store 8,000 songs or 120 hours of video. It comes with a 3-inch, 262,144-color OLED touchscreen display with 432 x 240 WQVGA pixel resolution that delivers clear and more lively images compared to any other mobile media player. Because of the OLED technology, the images appear more vibrant and come in a wider range of colors. It provides a high contrast ratio of 10000:1 and almost 180 degree viewing angle. With its built-in Wi-Fi that also supports Wi-Fi protected set up, you can surf the web or download Podcast or connect directly to YouTube and Yahoo! It comes with multiple high quality audio and video format (MP3, WMA, AAC and L-PCM audio formats; AVC(H.264/AVC), MPEG-4, and WMV DRM video formats; JPEG image files). It is provided with a long-lasting battery that allows continuous playback of up to 33 hours of music and up to 9 hours of video without the need of recharging.
The X Series features four audio technologies that provide an unmatched sound quality that is almost equivalent to the original recording. The S-Master audio technology which is presently utilized in high-end HiFi devices from Sony minimizes distortion to maintain the clearness of the sound regardless of the volume settings. Another audio technology that it uses is the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine that restores several high frequency signals that are lost or damaged during MP3 compression. Also, it uses Clear Bass technology that provides a profound and rich bass with no distortion. Lastly, it features the Clear Stereo technology which guarantees that the sound from either channel does not leak. Top quality ear headphones are also included to make sure that all the audio technologies are taken advantage of for an amazing listening experience.
