|The new Camileo BW10 is Toshiba’s first-ever waterproof and weather resistant camcorder. It is designed to withstand water, snow, rain or dust and is an ideal companion for water sports enthusiasts. BW10 is waterproof to a depth of two meters and is capable of delivering high definition images in a wide range of environments and in high levels of humidity. It comes in a lightweight and portable design that makes it easily fits into a small pocket or bag. It can capture images at the highest resolution available with its 1920x1080p full HD video recording capacity at a 30fps frame rate encoded as H264 (AVC) between 13-15MBit/sec. It is equipped with an image stabilizer that counters unstable shooting conditions to provide smoother handheld shots. It likewise features an integrated face detection technology that lets users take better portraits by automatically enhancing the exposure and colors of up to twelve faces in a single frame.
BW10 comes with a two-button operation that enables quick and easy switching between shooting video and 5MP still photographs. It is compatible with SD cards up to 64GB in capacity, enough storage space for up to seven hours of full HD video content. Captured footage can be enjoyed immediately on its 5.1cm (2.0”) LCD screen or through an integrated HDMI that enables play back on HD ready TVs. It also features dedicated YouTube functionality for instant sharing of videos with family and friends. BW10 is not capacitated with an optical zoom but does benefit from a 10x digital zoom. It provides a maximum ISO speed of 1600 that allows it to take great shots even in low light conditions. It further features USB 2.0 compatibility, auto power save, PictBridge support and Self Timer.
