|The Canon VIXIA HF S20 Dual Flash Memory Camcorder with a 32GB internal flash drive and two SD memory card slots offers Canonís most sophisticated feature and is one of Canonís main camcorders for 2010. It is a high definition camcorder that runs on a 1/2.6-inch CMOS imaging sensor with a resolution of 8.59 megapixels and records in AVCHD format. It can capture videos with an effective resolution of 3264 x 1840 pixels or 6.01 megapixels and for still photos, it has an effective resolution of 3264 x 1840 pixels or 6.01 megapixels for a 16:9 photo and 3264 x 2456 pixels or 8.02 megapixels for a 4:3 photo. The VIXIA HF S20 has the capacity to record up to 12 hours high definition video with a 32 GB internal flash drive. It is equipped with Relay Recording that allows the camcorder to automatically switch video recording from its internal drive to the next available SD memory card the moment the memory becomes full. It has also an added feature that allows copying of video from the VIXIA HF S20's internal drive to one of the two removable SD memory cards or from one card to the other.
This camcorder also features Canon's Dynamic SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization that offers continuous adjustment throughout the entire zoom range to correct a broad range of motion. It also features Instant AF focusing system that provides a dramatic improvement in auto focus speed and accuracy and makes possible to capture fast and accurate focusing even when following a moving subject.
